t² Gives Hope

2017 was our first t² gives hope event. Inviting our colleagues, friends and partners to join us in an open house supporting LaCasa a local center for victims of abuse. We collectively garnered more than 50 bags filled with personal care items for LaCasa clients.

Designing Star Award

t² was honored with the designing star award from MichBusiness in 2015 and 2017. The award recognizes companies that know how to make space great; from form to function, they know it all and can make it work in today’s world.

We Care

Since 2007, t² designs has sponsored a booth at the We Care event held every December. We Care unites the Boys & Girls Clubs of America with office furniture manufacturers Geiger and Herman Miller, Inc., along with some of America’s leading interior design and architectural firms, to host a holiday gathering for children in need. The We Care event includes entertainment, snacks, and, of course, a visit from Santa Claus. The children attending are also encouraged to make holiday gifts and cards. t² designs sponsored a booth and volunteered their time and talents to help the kids express their artistic vision.

Graduation from Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business Program

Ice Cream with Steelcase & NBS

What’s better on a hot humid August day than a visit from Steelcase/NBS in their ice cream truck?!  It’s not so bad to go outside on a hot humid 95 degree day, when the ice cream truck is right outside your door!

Genessee Golf Outing

The t²  team was able to spend a beautiful sunny day on the course with Genessee Tile!

t² Night Out

We jumped into spring with a night out to exercise our creative brain just for fun!  With a snack and glass of wine in hand, we all set out to try our hand at painting a scarf.  Not bad results for beginners!

Steelcase Experience

t² designs was invited to Steelcase headquarters in Grand Rapids for an in depth tour of their corporate offices and showroom. This fun and educational experience included a unique opportunity to dine at the beautiful Meyer May house designed by Frank Lloyd Wright.

Design Symposium

Kate Stefanelli had the unique opportunity to participate in the Tandus/Centiva Education Design Symposium in Napa Valley, CA. She was invited to collaborate with 14 other designers from all over the country as well as the design industry icons Jhane Barnes and Suzanne Tick. Designers were asked for their input on potential future flooring designs from Tandus/Centiva. The experience was not only memorable, but educational and inspiring as well.

Open House

As a thank you to the community, t² designs asked industry partners, clients, and friends to participate in a Back to School Drive. t² designs was grateful for the generosity of our friends, who helped to make back to schools better for many local area children. Over 20 backpacks filled to the brim with school supplies, as well as more than $200 in donations, were collected in less than 3 hours. Thank you for joining us and making our new office Open House and school supply drive a success.

Finish to Fashion

t² designs partnered with Cityscape Architects to win first place in the professional category at IIDA’s 2007 Finish to Fashion competition! Finish 2 Fashion blurred the line between fashion and interior design and changed how you think about finish materials! Local design firms and manufacturers coordinated to create movie-inspired costumes worthy of the runway. t² designs and Cityscape Architects worked w/ Contract Source Group to bring to life Edward Scissorhands. Ticket proceeds for this event benefited Dress for Success, a local organization that assists women.
